With NBA 2K22 Season 3 Iced Out just around the corner, that means more new content will be hitting MyTEAM and The City. • Start Date: December 3, 2021

• End Date: January 14, 2022

NBA 2K22 Iced Out: MyCAREER

Here's what NBA 2K22 MyCareer fans can expect to see in Season 3 on Current-Gen and Next-Gen:

1). Winter Wonderland

Both The City and the Cancha Del Mar will be decorated from top to bottom with festive decorations. Be sure to check out the Christmas Tree in the middle of The City on Christmas Day to get a fantastic reward. Meanwhile, previous-gen players will get to celebrate 12 Days of Xmas leading up to the Dunk the Halls event. Receive one gift per day on the days leading up to Christmas from the Tree of Giving located at the atrium.

2). Fire and Ice Event

Taking place in the park this season, the fire and ice event will increase the speed at which you get your takeover, but with a timed cooldown, after you make a basket, it looks to keep things nice and balanced. Players have been asking for fresh new events, so we'll see how this one plays out during the season.

3). Play on The City Rooftops in Single-Player

Exclusively for next-gen players, The City Rooftops is now live. In this single-player game mode, players can battle in a series of 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 competitions against players that take place exclusively on The City rooftops. Playing in the City Slam will earn you some fantastic rewards, including a championship belt.

4). 2XP Token Update

Unfortunately, those who held on to their 2XP token from last season in the hope of achieving a quick road to Level 40 this season will be shocked to find their tokens missing from their account. It's clear at this point that NBA 2K understands how quickly the game can dry up if the path to 40 is too easy; as such, 2XP tokens will no longer carry over between seasons. Sadly, that means no more stacking tokens.

5). Rewards

The rewards for Season 3 in MyCAREER have been released, including:

• Level 40 Reward: Animated 'Iced Out' Bundle, featuring a classy top hat and the illuminated Adidas sneakers.

• Level 30 Reward: Glider (Next-gen), Illuminated BMX Bike (Current-gen).

• Iced Out Racing Suit: 100 Wins in Park 3v3.

• Iced Out Helmet: 100 Wins in The Rec.

• New Jumpshot animation

• Iced Out Jewelry Pack.

• Holiday Mask.

NBA 2K22 Iced Out: MyTEAM

Here are just some of the new content you could expect in the latest season of NBA 2K22 MyTEAM:

1). Clutch Time

NBA 2K22 MyTEAM will have a brand-new game mode: Clutch Time. NBA 2K22 Season 3 Iced Out is finally here, and with it is the 4-point line! The 4-point line in Clutch Time will only appear towards the end of a game, triggering when there are only 5 minutes left on the clock and you and your opponent are tied up. Use the 4-point line as an opportunity to put a dagger in on your win, or stage a comeback yourself! If neither player gets a lead on, the game will enter sudden death, where the first player to score wins!

Winning Clutch Time games will let you earn Pink Diamond Damian Lillard! Get lucky, and you'll also get a chance to get Pink Diamond Michael Redd. Of course, it also includes other rewards, such as NBA 2K22 MT, Tokens, VC, etc.

2). The first Galaxy Opal Player Card

NBA 2K22 MyTEAM now has its very first Galaxy Opal Player Card! That is 97 OVR Galaxy Opal Allen Iverson, The Answer himself! Did you know that Allen Iverson was the first-ever NBA 2K cover athlete? You can earn him by reaching Level 40 this season on MyTEAM! That makes up for all the Pink Diamonds you missed out on in the last two seasons. With the Holiday Break upon us, you should have all the time you need to grind up to Level 40!

3). The return of Beyond Level 40

For the first time in NBA 2K22, players will now complete agendas again past Level 40! Using the brand-new Galaxy Opal Allen Iverson, players will achieve new agendas revolving around The Answer. Complete these new Agendas to earn an exceptional Option Pack that lets you choose between Pink Diamond Carl Hagan, Pink Diamond Andre Drummond, Pink Diamond Dan Majerle, and two more Pink Diamonds yet to be revealed later this Season!

4). Brand-New Domination Tier

There will also be a brand-new Domination Tier coming later on this season. This Domination Tier will not require you to finish any of the Domination Tiers: Current, All-Time, or The 75 before you start accessing this new Domination Tier.

5). Iced Out Coach Damian Lillard

A Signature Challenge featuring Damian Lillard's All-Time greats will let you earn a Ruby Perimeter-Centric Damian Lillard Player Coach Card!
