Lost Ark: How to Join and Win the Arkesia Grand Prix?

The Arkesia Grand Prix is a limited-time event added in March that pits players against each other in a race for the crown, but the rewards are pretty good. So, looking to get involved? Here's everything you need to know about the Lost Ark Grand Prix event: how to join and win it.

How to Join the Arkesia Grand Prix event in Lost Ark?

There is one requirement for players to complete before they can enter the Arkesia Grand Prix event in Lost Ark:

1. Players must be level 50 to enter the Arkesia Grand Prix event.

2. Find an NPC called the Arkesia Grand Prix Manager, marked with a pink exclamation point on the map.

3. Speak to the Arkesia Grand Prix Manager.

4. The NPC will provide the "[Event][Daily] Go to the Arena!" quest.

5. Select to race in the Arkesia Grand Prix.

Keep in mind that this daily quest is roster bound, which means that even if you switch characters, you won't get to participate twice a day.

Race start times:

As for race times (server time) for the Lost Ark Arkesia Grand Prix event, it starts at every hour of the day, such as 2 AM, 4 AM, 6 AM, etc. Since daylight savings haven't been factored into this, it could be that, in your particular timezone, this doesn't start on even hours, but on odd ones instead (1, 3, 5, etc.).

How to Win the Arkesia Grand Prix event in Lost Ark?

To win the race, there are specific strategies you can employ:

1. There are four abilities that Lost Ark players can use in the Arkesia Grand Prix:

Headbutt: This ability charges the player forward and staggers any opponents they hit.

Super Naruni: This ability fires a projectile that knocks down any opponent hit by it.

Plop Bomb: This ability sends out an explosive at the user's rear. After a few seconds, the bomb will go off, stopping anyone in its area of effect for a moment.

Tough Naruni: This ability grants users a shield that stops any other abilities from harming them for a short while.

2. While racing, players can encounter obstacles that slow down players. These static objects display a red AoE before attacking, signaling that it is time to move away.

3. Swinging mallets, explosions, lightning strikes, and enemies that wander onto the racetrack are all possible hazards that Lost Ark players will need to avoid or, even better, push enemies into.

4. Players will need to be aware of their surroundings, with who is in front of them and behind them. Try to keep track of their skills.

5. Players need to use their abilities wisely as they have a cooldown, and they also need to maintain focus to stay in front of the pack. Never use your skills when on top of a trap or another enemy skill like a bomb. You will lose so much time if you get displaced.

6. On some occasions, live enemies can roam onto the track, capable of moving and attacking independently, notably without a telegraph. While they have health bars and can be eliminated using Headbutt and Super Naruni, they often pose a minor threat to players and can be strafed around.

7. Another tip is to try to displace enemies into traps. For example, if you're close to a surprise like a hammer, after you pass it, leave a bomb. Or push the enemy ahead of you into it when they're trying to wait for the trap to pass.
